1997-2008 REST IN PEACE
I found Kawaii when i was still going to school at UC Santa Barbara over ten years ago. She was sitting on street corner on Melrose Ave. I was with my girlfriend at the time Jolyn, her friend Dympna, my brother Kyle, and another friend Koji. We were just strolling through LA on a weekend when i saw all this commotion around the corner of the street. I see everyone staring at this puppy that was shivering scared but just sitting there. Asked around if this dog belonged to anyone and walked around the block looking for owners. She was covered in fleas and looked abandoned so that day she became my close homie. For the first 5 years she stayed with me in Santa Barbara going to school with me, the beach, and became the mascot of our apartment at the time Pickle Patch. While me and my girlfriend were still together we treated Kawaii as our daughter and when we broke up it was as kawaii was under custody and we'd have to share her and have the "visiting days". She was my baby. Gabe Wyatt, good friend and roommate at the time also became an uncle and took good care of her as well. Anyone that knows how to reach him please have him email me. When i moved to LA Kawaii moved into my mom's house and became my mom's best friend. Since then she's been taken better care of the last 6 years and on October 13th she passed away from a large heart. I miss Kawaii a lot. Here are the last fotos taken of me, my mother and my beautiful friend Kawaii. I love you forever
