Last year I was asked to play a part in Tropic Thunder. I gladly took the role. They were filming last August and I had to cancel some gigs to fly to Kauai and spend a week doing my scenes. The original week that I was scheduled to go out there I ended up canceling some Asia dates which was fine because there was enough time for me to rebook them dates the following week. About a week before I was to head to Kauai they shifted the dates again. (This is common by the way) I was told later that dates shift all the time. THis time they shifted right on top of a heavily promoted Phillppines date, my first show in the Philippines actually. I had to make a decision whether i was going to cancel again on this date or do the movie. Once i saw how much the show meant to all the kids and how much they promoted the show, I had no choice but to cancel the role to be in Tropic Thunder... Every time i see the trailer i get bummed I missed my chance to stardom! hahaaahaha!! By no means am i even an actor. But FUCK IT, that show in the Philippines was one of the most important shows I did last year. Kids were hyped, I was hyped, everyone had a blast and it became one of my top 10 favorite shows I've done so far. LONG LIVE THE KIDS!
